One of my biggest joys (and chores, sometimes) in my programming career was in learning new languages. Starting in college, where I learned BASIC and FORTRAN (which were about the only major scientific or engineering languages available at the time) I eventually learned more, so I possess expertise in the following:
- BASIC
- C
- FORTRAN
- JavaScript / jQuery
- Pascal
- PHP
- SQL
With competency with, familiarity with or at least exposure to the following:
- APL
- C++
- Java
- LISP
- SNOBOL
My primary focus right now is using PHP for WordPress plugin coding and getting back into Java programming for the Android platform.
