Morgana’s Adventures

Third Adventure

The third and alas the last session had us venturing into the Virtual realm in search of an anti-vampire virus. Our first stop was at the Spies’ Demise, a virtual club. (The GM just got the virtual reality supplement and was itching to use it.) Outside the club my virtual icon was Zatanna (the DC sorceress character with top hat, tails, and fishnet stockings) but inside in the Hollywood room I became Myrna Loy (Mrs. Nora Charles: both the GM and I thought of the same actress, but for different reasons; besides being a very close visual match she also appeared as the hypnotic Fah Lo Suee, Fu Manchu’s daughter). The Gangrel in the group became Rin-Tin-Tin; I told him that he should be lucky that he didn’t become Lassie. Another vampire became Vincent Price (one of many). The oriental vampire became Toshiro Mifune.

We waited there while Fabian got directions, then headed out to travel by conduits. Unfortunately, the mage botched the roll, and two of us, myself  and the other Mage, wound up outside the Cathedral of Remé, a data archive run by the Celestial Chorus tradition of Mages, who do not like vampires! Both characters were dressed in medieval clothing. When I approached the door of the cathedral, I was challenged by two of the Swiss Guards, who lowered their pikes before me and said “Your kind isn’t welcome here.”

The response just came out. “But I thought all were welcome at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.”

The gamemaster went “Gurk!” and we were told to wait outside while the guards went inside. When the guards returned, they pointed down the path, told us to go that way, and not return.

While this was going on, the rest were assaulting the Technocracy lab and manage to succeed. Fabian arranged for a laser light system to be installed in the club.
