Ashiya’s Song

So now I stand before you, my friends, my companions, and my mentors, having told the tale of my life and death and re-birth, to repeat to you my oath as a Champion of Valaria.

I swear to uphold the Code of the Valarians.

I swear to defend and protect the innocent, the shapeshifters, and the pristine places of the world.

I swear to battle against those who threaten the world: the Pylos Lords, the necromancers and their followers, the warpspawn, the common evils and evil men that plague this land.

To these oaths I add these more:

I swear to honor Elethay by whose grace I am restored by fulfilling my destiny by becoming a Priestess of the Silver Lady.

I swear to honor those by whose sacrifices I am restored by aiding them and emulating them and becoming a Mentor and Glyph Master as they were and will be again.

I swear to honor the dreams and desires that I have been granted by this second chance at life by taking up the crafts of Shaman, Bard and Scholar.

I swear these oaths by my heritage as a Dragon.

I swear these oaths by my training as a Valarian and a Wizard.

I swear these oaths by my craft as a Nightwitch and acolyte of the Silver Lady.

I swear these oaths by my faith and by names of Elethay I worship: Silver Lady, Lady of Changes, Queen of Night, Lady of the Four Faces.

I swear these oaths by my common name: Ashiya Sharr’s-daughter.

I swear these oaths by my secret name.

So let it be.
