Regeneration

Background

You were a scientist who suffered a strange laboratory accident. Now, whenever you become angry or enraged, you become a hulking green behemoth. Despite your best efforts, you have not been able to effect a cure. Several years ago, you were reported dead, reportedly from a fall from an aircraft, but your incredible regenerative abilities saved you from that seemingly fatal fall.

You have spent the past several weeks at a janitorial job at the Orange County Hilton. This last week has been a struggle, as the hotel is the site of a police training conference, and you fear that one of the attendees might recognize you, but you risked it, covertly listening on several seminars that could prove helpful in your quest for a cure.

Notes

In any circumstance where you ( David ) are threatened or become angry, you must make a Willpower roll or begin to transform into the Hulk. You may spend a Willpower point to delay the transformation, but, if the conditions have not improved by the next round, then another Willpower roll will be necessary. On a botch, the transformation occurs and the Hulk becomes berserk until he leaves the present vicinity.

It takes one round to complete the transformation in either direction. After the transformation, all damage sustained is healed.

After three rounds of inactivity as the Hulk, you must make a Stamina roll or transform back into David. Each roll after the first is at +1 cumulative Difficulty. When the transformation is completed, you must make a Stamina roll against a Difficulty of the number of rounds as the Hulk, or lapse into unconsciousness; on a botch, you fall into a coma.

Neither David nor the Hulk have access to any cantrips or other fae magick.
