Superstar

Name: Eric Price
Height: 6′ 1″
Weight: 215 lbs.
Age: 27
Sex: Male
Race: Negroid

Description: Eric is built long and lean, with a dark complexion and dark brown eyes and hair. He keeps himself physically fit by evening sessions of handball and volleyball. He is always dressed impeccably, preferring dark brown suits. Even when exercising he is always wearing name-brand sweats (usually promoted by a sports star by a contract he initiated.)

Background: Eric was the sharp-shooting star guard of his high school basketball team, with a shot at getting a college scholarship, when an accident on court early in his senior year seriously damaged the ligaments of his left knee. The resulting surgery forced him to sit out the season and the scholarship never materialized. Undaunted, Eric attended Northwestern University, where he parleyed his knowledge of sports into a position as a student manager in football in college while majoring in business and management. Upon graduation, he got a position at a Chicago-based sports licensing agency because of his contacts among the athletes he knew or met at college. His drive and initiative, plus his knowledge of the ‘system’ and a strong imagination, led him to suggest a number of otherwise unrecognized but profitable licensing endeavors. Because of those successes in five years he has risen to be vice-president in charge of licensing, making million-dollar decisions. Still, sometimes he wonders what his life would have been like had he not been injured all those years ago. His fiancé, Naomi Williams, was a respected model who parleyed her knowledge of the trade into becoming part-owner and manager of a small but respectable local modelling agency. They are currently making wedding plans for next spring.

Personality: Extremely friendly and outgoing, Eric stills longs to play to the crowd. He is gregarious and socializes easily.

Powers: Eric possesses the power to create energy effects that parallel or mirror sports activities. He can knock out opponents with a thrown energy basketball, move quickly on energy rollerblades, parry projectiles with an energy catcher’s mitt, among others.

Tag Phrase: “He jumps, he shoots, he scores!”

Note: His contacts are Eugene Parker, professional players agent; David J. Stern, Commissioner of the NBA; Peter Thompson, Jr., a vice-president at Mattel; and Ron Woodson, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back.
