2005 Nebula Awards
The 2005 Nebula Awards DVD was my biggest project to date, and one of my first DVD projects, too. I used as many as five cameras over two hours of shooting, then spent months editing the footage, plus an assortment of video extras, and creating the DVD menus.
Easter Egg
Easter Eggs are common in DVDs and the 2005 Nebula Awards DVD has one, which is a series of pages based on the hoary old “You Are Here” signs and images. To locate them on the DVD, move right from the starting position on the Main Menu and then back left which will trigger the first Easter Egg page. Moving in any direction except ‘down’ cycles through the images. To return to the Main Menu from any image, simply hit the ‘down’ arrow to go to the exit button.
