Setting the Scene
| I searched through Cathleen’s albums on FaceBook, where I discovered this image. The model is Chelsea Lee, who appears in many images in that album. I was immediately struck by the model’s confident pose and direct gaze, something that brought to mind a professional law enforcement official. The casual clothing is something I could easily see the character wearing on a bust: nothing fancy or ornate, just something strictly utilitarian. I could work with this. |  |
| Cathleen charges $20 per photograph for use when the buyer is designing their own cover. In this situation, she provided two versions of the gallery photograph: one in color and one in black&white. I didn’t mind, as I didn’t know which I would be using: as it turned out, I used both. |  |
